Day Six -- A Person you Would Like to Trade Places With for a Day

Being the Libra that I am, and having a horrific time making decisions, and also given the fact that there are a few people I would like to trade places with for a day...I chose to split my day into thirds and, therefore, chose three different people!!!

First, I would spend eight hours as Mother Theresa!  Yep, you read right...Mother Theresa!  I would like to take time out of my one day to learn the ultimate in humility.  To go to the poor of communities and sit with them, live with them, pray with them.  I would like to see how it feels to live with the minimum and be extremely happy with that.  I would like to feel the blessings that go along with being a woman like Mother Theresa -- totally selfless, totally willing to DO and GIVE, and totally happy doing it!
I would then zap myself into my second or three eight-hour periods and become The Queen of Daytime:  Oprah Winfrey!  Yep!  I would rub elbows with all the people I should be rubbing elbows with -- in Hollywood, in politics, in fashion, etc., etc.  I would check out all the fabulous authors and then boast of their works on TV.  I would get hair and makeup and more hair and make up done.  I would get awesome shoes and awesome food.  I would open schools and give away fat checks and then do a show on all my favorite things and give them to everyone in the audience.  I would not forget myself cuz when that 8-hour period is over, I still want all the awesome giveaways!  I would use my "Oprah Power" and get everything important accomplished!
And then...oh, then...I would transform into hotness!  Yes, you all guessed it...my girl crush:  Shakira!  Talk about hot, hot, hot!  I would look amazing, sing amazing, belly dance amazing and shake my bootie off!  Oh, man, that woman just exudes confidence, sexuality, sensuality and just plain hotness!  That would be a super fun 8-hour period, if I should say so myself.  That would be the perfect end to a perfect day, accomplishing all I want to accomplish as three very powerful people, each in their own way!

Day Five - A Picture of your Favorite Memory

One of my favorite memories:  The day my husband (then-boyfriend) told me he loved me!  :)

I had been dating this dapper young man for some time (from the age of 15, actually)...one day upon getting out of the car in the alleyway of my home, my mom looked over at me and said, "I think Ricky (yes, we used to call him Ricky) is really starting to fall for you!"  I guess mothers just know these things because within days, those lovely three words were spoken!   I can still picture us getting out of the car, can still see it in my mind.
He picked me up downtown, as he always did, and we started on our way home from BART.  It was raining cats and dogs!  Pouring, pouring!  We took the same street every day and stopped under the corner tree, the one that had a weeping willow-type style and covered us in a little cover, and snuck some kisses.  Then we headed to my house.
We got there and I got him a towel to dry his hair and I dried mine.  He then snuck a few more kisses (though he probably didn't need to try too  hard) and said, "I love you!"  (Inside I was going crazy!  What the heck!)  So I gave a sly little smile and said "What?"  "I love you," he said again.  More of a slyness came across my face.  "What?" I said again.  "I love you," he stated for the third time.  "WHAT?"  To which he replied, "Forget it!"  LOL  to which I replied "I love you, too!"
That memory is burned in my mind and heart forever and feels as if it were yesterday, though it's been close to 22 years!
